Classical 89's Walter Rudolph hosts this program about Roland Perry's musical, which was written for the 1947 centennial of the arrival of the Mormon Pioneers in the Salt Lake Valley. Baritone Igor Gorin performs as Brigham Young.

Zukerman has been recognized as a phenomenon for nearly four decades. Equally respected as a violinist, violist, conductor, pedagogue, and chamber musician, he celebrates his 60th birthday on July 16. Join Classical 89 as we enjoy his work as soloist.
